  Tinted lips and shiny cheeks scream hours of hot sun and scratched up knees deep into whirlpools of everything balancing a whole solar system while wearing Saturn’s ring Never see the morning sun but watch it go down and drown out surrounding sound Ink her thoughts and leave rings of coffee on the table cloth Glazed like a donut and smiling so wide Catch her if you can but you might as well run after the high tide Consistent with every step of the way there Some days demand heels and others flats Ubiquitous, a woman of many hats When keys jingle at the end of a long day Just drink her water, surrender and pray Stomach down, flip through pages She can fight a weekend she’s been through a lifetime of changes Condensation can settle on her shades Nap under the sun until everything fades Jet black hair and eyes that reflect the sun to shine on the onlooker She’s always out of reach, can never book her Desires more than anything to be mysterious, can’t help herself but let it all out ...
