Happy birthday Deep!


The first bench in class

And purposely throwing shuttles past the school boundary

Repeatedly trying to convince you it wasn't on purpose

And then we all break into laughs


The three of us giggling on three red stools

Trying to rephrase your melodious answers into my notebook

Passing that book around with curious eyes and wide smiles

That day in february we went through some random guy’s files (😭)


The six of us listening intently to you

Java test in two periods and we don't know what to do

Chess matches where you were so patient with me

I'll never stop throwing the shuttle into the tree (hehe)


Composing poems and reading your essays

Contemplating life and laughing non stop, being around you makes all our worries diminish

Your talent has no bounds and may you go far

Keep being the caring and beautiful human that you are and never stop eating fish


Happy Birthday Deep!

You make this world a better place have the best year everr

What’s it gonna be today? Dead silence I read too far into Or the usual make-me-smile ‘hey’ You’re my best friend But am I yours?   Tonight is littered with several camera flashes in the balcony under a glowing moon Your favourite chips are on the table, the girls are huddled in the bathroom I’ll sip coffee in the snow globe mug, I’ll get you ice for your coke Laughs will bubble, girls will giggle Tired eyes, but somehow we’ll stay afloat Sway in sync with this beat, go around the circle, what do you want to eat?
